Boys and girls from the Polish city of Włoclawek - on the Vistula River, gave a 90-minute performance. With heir wonderful voices they transferred the spirit of Poland to the land of Kamchia. The Canto Choir prepared surprises for the spectators - a traditional Polish folk costume was presented, as well as dishes typical for the country.
The Canto Choir was announced the winner among the choral collectives at the jubilee edition of the Festival "Together in the 21st Century", and their leader Marian Szczepański was the best conductor.
The choir "Canto" consists of 54 pupils from the Musical School after Czesław Niemen in Włoclawek.
Also, 30 children from the choir of the Musical School "ASBeek" in the town of Płock joined the festival. Kamchia hosts also two famous Polish conductors: Barbara Gajek-Kraska and Agnieszka Jochymek-Trela.
The Festival "Together in the 21st Century", organized by the Fund for Sustainable Development for Bulgaria and the SOK Kamchia, unites artists, singers, musicians, dance groups, choirs, photographers, poets, writers, composers and children from 12 countries - Russia, Bulgaria , Moldova, Poland, Georgia, Armenia, Israel, Romania, Lithuania, etc.
Artists of different nationalities came to Kamchia to work, to relax and to meet the beauty of their countries and understand that they are the creators of the 21st century, they are ambassadors of beauty and peace, the peacemakers of our century.
